#MetaAI #BlenderPython #python

In this episode, I am testing the use of Meta AI to give me some codes to generate simple things inside Blender.

– random cubes in a grid of X and Y dimension
– random height cylinders
– towering random shapes cube
– random sushi and emoji text 3d arrangement
– Mokujin wooden robot

I really like this idea of having “Blender AI assistant”. Especially super helpful if you are Python coder, and like to have a bit more technical ability like using Macro to make your works better and more productive and efficient.

This is in particular is great for study and experiment, but ultimately to help you to produce things.

In the past, I tried using ChatGPT, but Meta AI seems to be pretty consistent. It’s not always perfect, and sometimes you might need to give snippet of code, and manually direct the code with prompting. However this is a great step in human kind and Blender and computer graphics to be able to study and converse with LLM and AI brain, to make things.

Ideally, Blender Foundation trains its own Blender AI specifically for Blender and Geometry Nodes. Meta AI must have some Blender Python knowledge that it is able to create basic things like LEGO toy like pieces.

Even better is to have the AI inside your own machine so you don’t share the histories with Meta AI. Llama 3 with the right training, might be able to answer some of the questions.

Enjoy!
