In this episode, I am sharing a BLEND setup and ideas that could help you to immerse yourself in KANJI LEARNING. It is slightly nerdy, but you might pickup a few things.
First of all, I am sharing a way you could import Kanji List module for Python that you can then use inside Blender. Use Blender Python Module Manager aka Blender pip addon to install this module easily.
https://pypi.org/project/kanji-lists/
https://github.com/amb/blender_pip
By using the Kanji Module, we know the “Kanji Data” is solid piece of data and we know it’s not fuzzy results like from AI.
Next step, you can transfer the Kanji value into 3D text objects or Geometry Nodes custom value that can be used to redraw the Kanji as curve.
Then, you can do anything with the 3D Kanji in Blender. Maybe sculpt the Kanji. Maybe redraw the Kanji using Grease Pencil. Or perhaps turning it into story as 3D composition that you can share with other Kanji nerds.
You can always incorporate the Kanji with AI ideas. Since the KANJI is now like 3D objects, you can grab the value, make up stories from it.
Enjoy!
