Reworking on project from scratch is a good way to wake up old workflow and rusty skills and to improve them.

Initially i was willing to work on a brushed steel shader, and as i was building the model i felt that more should be done.

This iconic Santos de Cartier is made with blender and rendered in cyclesrender

Sometimes only one big light is enough to reveal the entire scene, sometimes it’s is more complex and more lights are needed, I forced myself to work with only one pass and a very subtle compositing ( grading and camera effects, no patch )

This project is also a way to let shaders and pieces react between themself and to let them create little accidents.
