This talk is based on Virtuos Labs’ work on an unannounced UE5 AAA title that is currently in production.

The presentation will showcase simple, reusable materials that have enabled Virtuos to replace traditional layout methods in the UI. This helps them to avoid using panels and render transforms in the UI, enabling them to manage performance between the CPU and the GPU depending on the use case.
