Join us this week as we discuss the newest addition to the Epic Developer Community – Epic for Indies.

Epic is committed to indie developers everywhere. Being game devs ourselves, we have a long-standing desire to help you succeed. That starts with giving you access to powerful tools in Unreal Engine that we use ourselves and making it free for you to get started—you won’t pay a cent until your game makes $1 million. We’ve also been funding ambitions through the MegaGrants program; offering a platform for publishing your games with a fair revenue-split model with the Epic Games Store; and celebrating your game successes along the way.
Back in 2022, we introduced the Epic Developer Community: a place created by devs, for devs to connect, share, and learn from each other. Earlier this year, we refreshed the community experience with better navigation, faster load times, and improved the Community profiles and the tutorial editor.
Now, we’re taking the next step. The Epic Developer Community is expanding, with a new Indies space for small teams. Join us in the Indies space to find one another, get the latest news, engage with industry partners, and discover learning resources.
Whether you’re building with Unreal Engine or another engine, everyone is welcome.
