Well, this isn’t something you hear every day… EA/Electronic Arts just did something really good. They just added 23 patents to their accessibility patent pledge, which enables other game developers to make use of them legally and for free. Additionally, they just open sourced a few related projects on GitHub including IRIS for Unreal Engine, a project for photosensitivity analysis (think… those game warnings about flashing lights causing seizures). All around a solid move by EA.
