Hello.

I’m just getting used to Quixel Mixer as it is in Free beta.
https://quixel.com/mixer

I’ve recently found that you can setup and add a preset that makes it easy to export the RMA Packed reflection map plus Albedo and Normal maps plus others, from Quixel Mixer to UE4

In this little tutorial, I’m gonna demonstrate how to create you maps using channels, export the textures and save the preset for the next time you want to quickly access it.

Edit: One tip from Jonathan at Quixel that isn’t shown in the tutorial… “enable Linear for exporting the Roughness and AO maps as well as the Metallic map. The tutorial has them set up as sRGB.”

Oh yeh, you can also setup any preset you want, I have created presets for Unity and I use their default preset that will export a bunch of maps using a metallic workflow.
