In this episode, I wanted to try Transform Geometry node in Blender 4.2 that comes with Matrix input option.

Geometry Nodes has always been powerful with instancing geometries; In the past, all we talk mostly is about Points and Vectors to instance geometry placing and rotating them using vectors.

In recent Blender, we finally have Matrix nodes and Transform Geometry. I have not used this much until today.

If I check older videos, actually I use Matrix nodes quite a bit when SVerchok Addon nodes were still the node tools. This is way back before Geometry Nodes! SVerchok Matrix Nodes is powerful that it could “vectorize” and accepting multiple inputs, in Blender Geometry Nodes, we need to use Repeat zone.
